Spoke EULA

Effective date: 2026-09-25

This is the End User License Agreement ("EULA") for the dev-mux spoke runtime (the "Software") — the component installed on your own machines via curl -fsSL https://dev-mux.com/install | bash. It supplements, and does not replace, the Terms of Service.

1. Grant of license

Subject to your compliance with this EULA and the Terms of Service, and for as long as you hold an active dev-mux subscription or an active free trial, Jamie Ter Beest ("Licensor") grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run the Software on machines you own or control, solely for the purpose of connecting those machines to your dev-mux account.

This license does not sell you the Software or any copy of it. Licensor retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

Authorized use is limited to you and to persons you explicitly authorize in writing, acting on your behalf and under your account.

3. Term and termination

This license is effective only while your subscription or trial is active. It terminates automatically, without notice, when your subscription or trial ends, is cancelled, or expires, or if you breach this EULA or the Terms of Service. On termination you must stop running the Software and remove it from any machine on which it is installed. Sections 2, 4, 5, and 6 survive termination.

4. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. Licensor does not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted or error-free.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Licensor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from or related to your use of the Software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Licensor's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Software is limited to the amounts you paid for your dev-mux subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Governing law

This EULA is governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

7. Third-party software

Third-party software incorporated into or used by the Software remains subject to its respective license terms — see Third-party notices.
