Refund Policy

Effective date: 2026-07-19

This policy explains what happens to your money when you cancel, and the one situation in which we give it back.

1. Cancellation — run to the end of your paid period (no proration)

You can cancel any dev-mux subscription at any time. When you cancel:

Your plan runs to the end of the current paid period. You keep full access until the paid period you have already paid for ends. Monthly plans run to the end of the current month of service; annual plans run to the end of the current annual term.
No proration. We do not prorate or refund the unused remainder of a paid period. Because cancellation is run-to-period-end, you are not charged again after the current period, and the current period is not prorated.
At the end of the period, your subscription ends and your managed hub enters the teardown and grace/export process described in §2 of the Privacy Policy.

This is the standard cancellation path for both monthly and annual plans.

2. 14-day first-timer money-back guarantee

Separately from the cancellation rule above, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers:

If you are subscribing to a paid dev-mux plan for the first time, and you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first paid charge.
This is a money-back guarantee: we refund the initial charge in full, no proration required.
It applies once per customer, to your first paid subscription only. It is not available on renewals, plan changes, additional subscriptions, or repeat sign-ups.

3. How the two rules fit together

First 14 days, first-time subscriber, unhappy → full refund under §2.
Any other cancellation → run-to-period-end, no proration under §1.

4. Taxes and processor fees

Refunds are issued through our payment processor. Any applicable tax handling follows the processor's and jurisdiction's rules at the time of the original charge.
